About Old Europe Antiques and Fine Furnishings

Old Europe Direct is a family owned and operated antique business located in the centre of British Columbia, Canada. It is not only family run on this side of the ocean but also on the other side. In Germany, our sister and brother in law are tirelessly traveling throughout Europe to find these exceptional pieces. They have been antique dealers for over 21 years in Europe and only send us pieces in the best possible condition.

Importing and shipping such rare and old items halfway across the world is a rather large and complicated and not to mention costly undertaking. Therefore we can claim that our “Quality Control Team” is very picky and choosy before they wrap and load each piece by hand in to the containers.

We also have and take orders from customers for specific pieces that our buying team in Europe keeps an eye out for. Once they locate something that is close to matching a customers request, they e-mail us pictures and a quote which we pass on to the customer so they can make a decision. We then ship it in the next container.

One thing we have set out to specialize in, are antiques that are affordable. That does not mean that we don’t ship any upper end and very rare pieces for customers, but the larger part of our inventory consists of solid, unique, functional and affordable antiques that are in good condition.
