German Doughnuts
4 3/4 cup (720g) flour Instructions: Add Flour, baking-powder and sugar to a mixing bowl. Cut in butter mixing and slicing until mixture is crumbly. Add egg, sour cream and whipping-cream, beat with an electric mixer until well combined . Knead mixture shortly with your hands then cover for one hour in a cool place.
Put dough on a floured work space and roll out until dough is about 1/2 inch thick. Cut out with a biscuit cutter about 2" diameter until you have no more dough to cut out from.
Take a smaller cutter (Apple corer works great) and make another hole in each dough piece.
With the leftover dough repeat the process.
